Holy Week Update

Hello Everyone! Holy Week starts tomorrow and I just wanted to give you some updates. I am still planning on working on the Daniel devotions. I haven’t forgotten about them. I’ve been busy with work, church and just being exhausted.  As for Holy Week, I decided to do something different. Instead of writing my insights on Holy Week Scriptures (like I did last year), I decided to write prayers for each day. The Bible command us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Also, it is impossible to have a devotional life without prayer. I will post the Sculpture references and encourage reading them as well as praying. Also feel free to look back at the Holy Week devotionals from last year.  May God bless you as you pursue Him!

Personal Time with God

Hello Everyone! I hope you all are having an amazing weekend. Several years ago, I was having my personal devotional time with The Lord . I could sense the presence of The Holy Spirit and I felt compelled to write my own personal “psalms” to God Himself. I was at a desk, so I grabbed a pen and some index cards and began to write short, free-verse poems of exaltation to each Person of the Trinity . I hope this encourages you to creatively express yourself to The Lord as you spend time with Him.  To the FATHER: Oh Glorious God Who inhabits Eternity.  You are King of all creation, of the entire universe. Yet, You offer fellowship and salvation to the lowley. You dwell in unapproachable light, yet You have revealed Yourself to man. You are The Omnipresent God , but You are not confined to any physical location.  The earth You created in all its beauty is a mere footstool for Your feet.  Man has only seen a small fragment of Your creation. There are many places we...
