Sunday Visions

  Happy Sunday Everyone! I hope everyone is having a restful and worshipful Sunday. I just wanted to share what I believe The Lord showed me. During service, we had several times of prayer. At one point I closed my eyes and for some reason, I began to envision Jesus walking on water beside me. Later, I found myself in these beautiful turquoise waters. It kind of reminded me of a lagoon. In the middle of the waters was a narrow, stone pathway. I immediately knew that I was meant to walk the pathway. The waters were beautiful, but deep and I knew I had to walk this path to cross over to the other side.  Then I opened my eyes and was back in the church sanctuary about to take Holy Communion. This vision only lasted less than 30 seconds. But I began to ponder it, even long after the worship service ended.   Some time after the death of Nebuchadnezzar, his successor Belshazzar is now king of Babylon. One day, King Belshazzar decided to throw a huge banquet in his palace, inviting all of the prominent members of his kingdom.         Belshazzar’s Feast by Rembrandt  In the midst of the celebration, Belshazzar becomes intoxicated with wine, began to praise his false idols and even drank from the sacred vessels that were taken from the Jerusalem temple by his predecessor Nebuchadnezzar.  But the festivities come to a screeching halt when suddenly a disembodied hand appears in the room and writes a message on the wall, directed at Belshazzar: Belshazzar is obviously terrified after this supernatural encounter.
