Sunday Visions

 Happy Sunday Everyone!

I hope everyone is having a restful and worshipful Sunday. I just wanted to share what I believe The Lord showed me.

During service, we had several times of prayer. At one point I closed my eyes and for some reason, I began to envision Jesus walking on water beside me. Later, I found myself in these beautiful turquoise waters. It kind of reminded me of a lagoon. In the middle of the waters was a narrow, stone pathway. I immediately knew that I was meant to walk the pathway. The waters were beautiful, but deep and I knew I had to walk this path to cross over to the other side.

Then I opened my eyes and was back in the church sanctuary about to take Holy Communion.

This vision only lasted less than 30 seconds. But I began to ponder it, even long after the worship service ended. I began to think of Jesus’ words in Matthew 7:14; …narrow is the waywhich leadeth unto life.

I also thought of Psalm 62:6; He only is my rock and my salvation.

I believe God was reminding me to stay on this path of following Him and not be distracted by things (waters) that could overtake me. The Lord also reminded me that He is my Rock and foundation, unmovable, solid and trustworthy.

I hope this encourages you in your journey with Christ!
